Alma Jane Wilson

Alma Jane Wilson, 84 of Ages, KY passed away on Tuesday morning of March 18, 2025 at her home.

Alma was born March 22, 1938 at Grays Knob, KY to the late Joseph and Susan Metcalf Davis. She was a homemaker and longtime member of the Ages Baptist Church, where she served as the Church Treasurer. She was an avid animal lover.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Omer WIlson; her brother, Harold Davis; nephews, Joseph Hightower and Colin Renninger; her niece in law, Cheryl Hightower.

She is survived by her sister, Eula Hightower of Anniston, AL; her brother, Phillip "Smiley" Davis of Harlan; her nieces and nephews for whom she loved as her own children, Leslie Williams, Laura Hightower, Alma Humphrey, Austin Renninger, Joshua Hightower, Mara Garrick & baby Zoe, Charles Hightower, Susan Hightower and Trudy Renninger, Rose Mitchell and Harold Davis, Jr. ; great nieces and nephews, Scarlett Williams, Liam Williams, Landon Williams, Jordan Hightower, Justin Renninger, Ricky Mitchell, Nicholas Mitchell, Hayden Baxter, Curtis Humphrey, III.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm Saturday (March 22) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday (March 23) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Wallace officiating.

Burial will follow in the Metcalf Cemetery at Nolansburg, KY where she will be laid to rest beside of her beloved husband, Omer.
