Allen Stewart

Allen Garlan Stewart, 76 of Rio Vista passed away on Wednesday November 27, 2019 at Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Allen was born November 4, 1943 to the late Emery and Edith Howard Stewart. He enjoyed listening to country music, and  believed in the Baptist Faith.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers; Dallas and Arliss Stewart, his sisters; Mildred Porter, and Gail Tucker.

He is survived by his brothers; Darryle Stewart of Dillsburg, PA., Donald Stewart of Muncie, IN., Howard (Shelia) Stewart of Lexington, KY., James (Jean) Stewart of Nicholasville, KY., Douglas (Janet) Stewart of Lexington, KY., Gary (Karen) Stewart of Rio Vista, KY., and Jerry (Ranji) Stewart of Harlan, KY.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday (Dec. 7) in the chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Joe Howard officiating.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
