Alethea "June" Sturdivant

Alethea "June" Sturdivant, 72 of Hulen in Bell Co., KY passed away Thursday Morning of February 17, 2022 at her home.
June was born on November 25, 1949 to the late Harley and Julia Simpson Jump in Hulen, KY. She believed in the Baptist faith, and faithfully attended Blackmont Baptist Church.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Sturdivant; her son, Harley Dewane Sturdivant; and her brother, Asher Jump.
She is survived by her daughter, Aletha (David) Wright; grandchildren, Jonathan (Shandale) Marcum, Tyler (Brittany) Sturdivant, Wesley (Sarah) Farley, Taylor (Darrell) Sturdivant, Samantha Raines, and Landyn Sturdivant; great grandchildren, Ariel Gibson, Olivia Sturdivant, and Harley Tate Owens; she leaves a host of other loving family and friends to mourn her passing. Through out June's life, she had many roles. Her favorite was being able to take care of her family whenever they needed her.
A gathering of family will be 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm and friends will be after 5:00 pm Monday (Feb. 21) at the Blackmont Baptist Church, Memorial services will begin at 6:00 pm at the Church with Rev. David Howard and Bro. Justin Helton officiating. Music will  be provided by Wanda Carroll and Dorothy Eldridge.
